The holiday hosting experience provides you with the opportunity to meet and enjoy a holiday with an American family. Often this involves sharing a holiday meal, talking, playing games, and sometimes visiting an American church.

Thanksgiving is a holiday that is celebrated on the last Thursday of November each year. It is a time to come together with family and friends to express gratitude.


Christmas is on December 25th each year.  This is by far the biggest holiday celebrated annually in the US.  Christmas is a time to exchange gifts and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.


Easter occurs  yearly, but not always on the same date. It takes place between the middle of March and middle of April. Easter is a time to celebrate new life in Jesus

Join a cookout with a family or group of students for other special holidays (Fourth of July, Memorial Day, etc.)
